Information for School Groups

Information for School Groups

We want to make your school visit to the Belgrade Theatre as easy as possible. We hope that this short information pack will offer answers to any booking or access queries you may have.

Booking and Tickets

Nearly all shows have a concessionary schools’ ticket price, details of which can be found in the season brochure and on our website. These prices vary depending on the show, but all offer one free teacher ticket per every ten student tickets sold.

To book tickets please call the Belgrade Theatre Box Office on 024 7655 3055.

Immediately after you have made your booking we will post an invoice to your school. On arrival of this invoice we ask for a 10% deposit to secure your booking. We then ask you to pay the remaining balance in full one month prior to your visit. If the balance is not paid in full prior to the visit then we will be unable to permit your group into the performance.

Payment Timing

We hope to take schools’ bookings as early as possible. This allows time for any extra arrangements necessary to make your theatre visit as rewarding as it can be. If the booking is made with less than one month to the performance, a date will be agreed between the theatre and your school as to when the full balance will be paid, prior to your visit.

Transport to the Theatre

Coaches can drop patrons off on Upper Well Street (near Belgrade Square) where they can easily access the theatre.

Added Value for Your Visit

We strive to make your students’ visit as rewarding as possible. On many of our shows we programme pre or post show discussions to give audiences the chance to learn more about the performance they are watching. You can find information about these offerings in the Season Brochure or on our website.

We are also more than happy to create bespoke workshop offerings around any of our performances, or around the work that you are teaching in your classroom.
