Win tickets to The Prodigals!

Posted on 26 July 2013

Fancy winning tickets to the hottest new musical on stage this Autumn? We’re offering you a chance to win tickets to see The Prodigals in exchange for telling us why your theatre matters.

Why have we set up this competition?

All you need to do to enter the competition, is tell us what the Belgrade means to you. In a time when funding to the arts is being cut, a nationwide campaign has been set up by the TMA, The Stage and Equity, called My Theatre Matters! which urges all of us to shout about why our local theatre is important in order to stop further, potentially devasting cuts being made.

What do you have to do to enter?

Either send us a tweet via Twitter starting with @BelgradeTheatre followed by My Theatre Matters because… and the rest is up to you. Alternatively you can post your responses on our facebook page. It could just be a few words about what you love about the theatre or it could even be a photo or a video. You could tell us about your favourite show, send us a photo of your child at their first pantomime, or link to a YouTube video of you talking about your fondest memory at the theatre.

It’s up to you, so get creative and our five favourite entries will win a pair of tickets to see The Prodigals.

Whether you’re a winner or not, all of the entries will be added to a Pinterest board.

The deadline for entries is Friday 23 August.

If you’re lacking in inspiration, here are some staff of the Belgrade and members of the public talking about why theatre matters to them.
