Kickstart your career with an Apprenticeship at the Belgrade

Posted on 2 June 2015

We’re pleased to announce that the Belgrade is recruiting for three apprenticeships starting in August and September 2015. These vacancies span three creative and hardworking departments at the Belgrade Theatre including Operations, Wardrobe and Community.

For anyone looking to take the first step towards a career in the arts, this is the perfect opportunity to learn on the job and gain practical skills and experience of working in a theatre environment. Apprentices will spend a year working full time at the theatre and at the end of this time, will have gained an NVQ Level 2 qualification.

To find out more about any of these vacancies, visit our Work Opportunities page and download the job description on the left hand side.

Launched in 2011, the Belgrade’s award-winning creative apprenticeship scheme was recognised in the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers list published in The Guardian and was awarded Creative Apprentice Employer of the Year by the National Skills Academy in March 2012.

This year, we’re also holding an Apprenticeship Open Day on Saturday 20th June from 2.30pm – 5pm at the theatre. This will be an opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about Apprenticeships at the Belgrade to drop in and meet with past and current Apprentices, have a short tour of the theatre and speak to staff in more detail about the roles.
