Youngsters Get Stuck In To Summer School!

Posted on 1 August 2014

This year, we welcome the return of the Belgrade Theatre’s ever-popular Summer School, two week-long programmes of interactive drama activities aimed at ages 8-11 and 11-16.

Last week saw enthusiastic young performers from across Coventry and Warwickshire brush up on their devising, improvisation and clowning techniques through a combination of interactive drama games, craft sessions and performance workshops lead by the theatre’s Community and Education company.

You can view a selection of highlights from the first week of Summer School 2014 by clicking on the gallery icon to the right.

Don’t forget, we still have a limited number of places available for week 2 of our annual Summer School running from 4th August! Next week, we’ll be putting young participants through their paces with a series of interactive sessions exploring themes of Ownership and Property.

If you’re aged between 8-16 and passionate about performance, why not join us for a week of fun and interactive workshops focused around developing your devising skills! Plus, there’s the chance to showcase your new found skills to family and friends at the end of the week.

Week 2 of Summer School runs from Mon 4 – Fri 8 August from 10am – 4.30pm daily at a cost of £120 if booked online or £130 if booked over the phone or in person. The full week must be paid for at the time of booking. Early drop off (from 8.45am) and late pick up (up to 5.15pm) is available at an additional cost of £20 (Summer School). A 25% discount available on all classes above, when two or more tickets are bought for the same event for the same family.
