Well Done Wednesday: Inspiring the Next Generation

Posted on 15 July 2015

At the end of June, with the support of Belgrade Board member and Managing Director of Deeley Group Peter Deeley, we launched our Inspiring the Next Generation campaign.

With half of the £500,000 overall target already secured, the Inspiring the Next Generation campaign is now seeking to raise the remaining £250,000 to secure the work of the Belgrade’s Community & Education Company, for the next three years.

This work includes, namely: Theatre in Education (Big School), Acting Out, Middle and Senior Youth Theatre Groups, Black and Asian Youth Theatre Groups, and our Outreach Youth Theatre

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to handful of generous donors, who have helped to kick start the campaign by raising, to date, £1,000.

Peter Deeley says “As a passionate ambassador, I hope the valuable work of the Belgrade’s Community & Education Company not only survives but thrives. I am inspired to help the young people in Coventry and Warwickshire because I have seen the hugely positive effects and invaluable life skills that are taught though the Community & Education Company. I hope you also feel inspired to do the same”.

We are currently hosting an Inspiring Curiosity: In Our Own Words Festival, which showcases the work of the young people involved with our Community & Education Company. Performances run until Sunday 19 July.

The Belgrade Theatre Trust is a registered charity (number 219163). This means that all the money given, raised or earned is not distributed as profit but kept and reinvested in the work that we do. To find out more, please visit:
