the Tread the Boards of One Night in November campaign raised over £400?

The Belgrade Theatre is committed to producing high quality theatre for the people of Coventry and Warwickshire. One of the key strands of our Artistic Policy is to produce plays that tell the stories of Coventry, ensuring that our rich history and heritage is not forgotten.

To support this strand of work the Belgrade recently ran the “Tread the Boards” campaign connected to the production of One Night in November. Donors were asked to sponsor a shoe from the productions poignant end scene.

Through the generosity of One Night in November audiences we raised £236.25, and thanks to the Arts Council’s Catalyst Arts Programme we have been able to draw down funding to increase the amount raised to £442.25. The money raised will go towards the cost of staging Coventry stories.

Thank you to all who supported the Belgrade Theatre and sponsored a shoe.
