Over the Top storms the festive season

Posted on 11 December 2018

Since opening on Saturday 1 December, our World War I-themed alternative Christmas show Over the Top has received some fantastic responses from critics and audiences alike.

Set in 1917, Over the Top tells the story of a group of suffragettes performers who get stuck behind enemy lines after heading to the Western Front to stage a show to lift the soldiers’ spirits. But with bullets whizzing over their heads and howitzers shaking the ground, the troupe get stuck behind enemy lines and a rescue mission is needed. Hashtag #FirstWorldWarProblems.

Offering the perfect festive night-out for groups of friends or colleagues, this pun-filled adventure shows at the Belgrade until Sat 29 December. Here’s a look at what people have been saying so far.
