Introducing CityFibre

Posted on 26 February 2019

The Belgrade Theatre’s exclusive Directors’ Club is pleased to welcome CityFibre as its latest member.

We are proud to be working with a company which is investing so much into the communities of Coventry. CityFibre is the UK’s leading alternative provider of wholesale full fibre network infrastructure, transforming cities such as Coventry into the world’s most digitally connected places. It has recently announced an investment of £60m of private funds into the next-generation gigabit-speed internet network in Coventry, which will be extended to nearly every home and business as part of its Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) project in partnership with Vodafone.

Leigh Hunt, City Development Manager at CityFibre said: “It’s an exciting time for Coventry and we’re delighted to be shaping its digital future. Becoming members of Belgrade Theatre’s Directors’ Club enables us to strengthen our community and stakeholder engagement whilst spreading the Gigabit City Coventry message far and wide. We look forward to connecting with other members of the Directors’ Club.”

The Belgrade’s Directors’ Club scheme aims to strengthen the relationship between the theatre and the local and regional business communities. Amongst other things, members can take advantage of regular networking opportunities and social evenings with other members and businesses across the region. Directors’ Club members can also use their membership to entertain clients, target new markets, incentivise staff and demonstrate their commitment to the local community.
