Eilidh Loan in rehearsals for Frankenstein

Frankenstein Podcast - Eilidh Loan on playing Mary Shelley

Posted on 6 September 2019

With the Autumn Season now underway and the first wintry chills creeping into the air, it feels like the perfect time to start looking ahead to our new production of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, running on our B2 stage 2-12 October, just ahead of Halloween.

This chilling adaptation by Rona Munro places the novel’s radical young author amidst the action of her story, wrestling with her own creation. With the first previews starting in Perth this week, and today marking National Read A Book Day, we caught up with Eilidh Loan, who plays the novel’s 18-year-old author, to find out what made Mary and her story so remarkable.
