Posted on 9 February 2015

Last week marked the opening of our brand new children’s play, Only A Day in B2. Premiering in Coventry this February, Only A Day a funny and poignant drama about the circle of life and the power of friendship featuring a cast of colourful animal characters.

Directed by the Belgrade’s multi award-winning Creative Associate, Tony Graham, this life-affirming play for ages 7-11 tells the story of three friends, a cunning fox, a wild boar and a beautiful mayfly, who together embark upon an unforgettable journey through life and its rich mysteries.

We caught up with Tony Graham ahead of half term holidays to find out more about bringing the colourful world of Martin Baltscheit’s novel to life on stage.

Having begun his career as Artistic Director of TAG theatre between 1992-1997, Tony was appointed as Artistic Director and subsequently, Chief Executive of the Unicorn Theatre, the UK’s flagship theatre for young audiences.
