Podcast - Ben Castle-Gibb on playing Victor Frankenstein

Posted on 19 September 2019

With just a couple of weeks to go until Rona Munro’s chilling new adaptation of Frankenstein arrives at the Belgrade Theatre, we spoke to Ben Castle-Gibb, who is making his professional acting debut in the story’s title role (that’s the scientist, not the monster!)

Listen in below to hear more about how the play draws parallels between Victor Frankenstein and Mary Shelley herself, as they both set to work on their strange creations that will shock the world around them, and push against the boundaries of what their societies deem acceptable.

Frankenstein shows at the Belgrade Theatre from 2-12 October as part of our B2 Season of Love and Belonging. Tickets are available to book now.

A pre-show screening of Universal’s 1931 Frankenstein film will take place at 6pm on Saturday 5 October. To book, simply choose your tickets for the play, then add the screening to your basket when you check out.
