Belgrade Boss Gets Sloshed for Charity!

Posted on 10 November 2017

The Belgrade Theatre’s Head of Development, Helen Hotchkiss, is raising money for families in need this Christmas by getting publically ‘sloshed,’ all in the name of charity!

At the Belgrade Plaza’s Christmas Light Switch On, Helen will be recreating the famous ‘slosh scene’ in its annual pantomime, by getting squirted with several litres of shaving foam, otherwise known as ‘slosh!’

As a registered charity, the Belgrade Theatre runs its Making Memories campaign in partnership with Coventry Foodbank to allow disadvantaged children and their families to see the pantomime and is aiming to raise over £7,000 in order to give away over 600 tickets over the festive season.

The theatre needs YOUR help to spread the joy and magic of pantomime to as many families as possible this Christmas, who may be suffering financial hardship or illness. To sponsor Helen and donate to Making Memories, please visit and donate any amount you can. Alternatively, you can donate at the theatre’s Box Office and/or purple collection buckets.

See Helen get sloshed at the Belgrade Plaza Christmas Light’s Switch On from 5pm on Wednesday 22 November, outside the Belgrade Theatre. This is a free event – no tickets required.

Cinderella runs on the Main Stage at the Belgrade Theatre from Weds 22 Nov 2017 – Sat 13 Jan 2018. Tickets are available now priced from £16.75 for adults, £11.75 for children and £47 for families. Book now by calling the Belgrade’s Box Office team on 024 7655 3055 or online.
