Running in the B2 auditorium until Saturday 3 May, Bassett is the latest production from the Belgrade’s Acting Out Company. This pacey, funny and urgent play by James Graham takes us inside a classroom at Wooton Bassett School, where a group of Citizenship students have been locked in and tensions are running high. Outside a repatriation of a fallen British soldier is happening causing the pupils to question their own conflicts, their country and themselves.

Acting Out is the Belgrade’s groundbreaking Work-Related Learning programme that works with young people who are not achieving their full potential within the mainstream education system. It provides them with an opportunity to participate in drama, dance and performing arts business activities based at the theatre.

Tickets for Bassett are available by calling our friendly Box Office team on 024 7655 3055 or via our website. Bassett is FREE to attend but you will be asked to make a donation towards the work of the Belgrade’s Community & Education Company at the end of the show.
