An amazing donation to Making Memories!

Posted on 20 December 2017

This Well Done Wednesday blog goes out to one of our incredible Producers’ Circle members, Hitash Patel for his outstanding support in our Making Memories Campaign.

Hitash has donated an impressive £1,010 to Making Memories and with added Gift Aid and Local Giving match funding equates to a staggering £1,272.50. Consequently, Hitash’s help has enabled 21 local families in need an evening of magic at our enchanting pantomime Cinderella.

Hitash’ donation has placed us almost in reaching distance of our £7,200 target, however we still have a way to go!

If you’d like to make a donation, no matter how big or small, please click here.

Your donations go directly towards providing panto tickets to local children, like Laila

Laila lives in Coventry with her mum and four older brothers and one younger sister. The family have recently returned to the city, after escaping domestic violence, and are living in a two-bedroom flat until a more permanent home can be found. Laila is a bright and friendly little girl, but has found it difficult to cope with her step-father’s suicide last year. Laila is just 6 years of age and has never been to a pantomime.

Laila’s name has been changed, but her story is real.

Donations made through Local Giving, online or via Box Office will be acknowledged on one of our gorgeous, glittering ‘glass slippers’, hanging in the windows of our first floor foyer. These shoes were kindly donated by Boss Shoes, Coventry.
