A Big Thank You to Coventry's Senza Nome Choir!

Posted on 5 October 2015

Senza Nome, Coventry’s very own Polish Choir, supported us on Tuesday 29 September for the press night for The Silver Sword. Performing in our foyer in the hour leading up to the play, they performed an array of classic Polish songs to an appreciative crowd. With several children of choir in traditional Polish folk costumes, wishing ‘Dzień dobry’ to all the patrons that entered, the stage was set for a play set in Poland after World War II.

With an excellent array of songs, beautifully sung, Senza Nome was a real asset to the Belgrade. The assistance of the director of the choir, Joanna Kunda, was particularly appreciated, and all those of the choir who stayed to watch The Silver Sword found it moving, and in particular enjoyed an updated version of ‘Sto Lat’, a Polish birthday song.

The Silver Sword was a great success at the Belgrade and we want to thank Senza Nome for assisting us with making press night such an exciting experience!
