Join us to celebrate the Lunar New Year with a range of Chinese crafts and activities, presented by Coventry University’s Confucius Institute.

Celebrated in a number of countries across East and South East Asia, January marks the beginning of the Year of the Rat, said to be auspicious for all new beginnings.

Try your hand at the art of calligraphy, join our tai chi taster sessions, or learn all about traditional crafts that are said to bring good luck and good fortune.

The new year is a time to turn over a new leaf and to take a fresh look at the world – so what better time to learn a new skill or try out something different?

This a free, drop-in event and runs from 9am-12pm.
